McHALE, Gervase Sylvester "Gerry� August 19, 1919 - November 9, 2004 (Proud Veteran WW II) It is with profound sadness that we bid farewell to our father, grandfather and friend. Dad passed away at the age of 85 years after a long battle with cancer, bravely fought. Predeceased by our mother, Beatrice McHale (nee Bowers), Dad�s best friend and soulmate for over 57 years. Adored father of Mary Elizabeth, Theresa Lynne and the late Jane. Devoted and loving grandfather "Gramps� of Sean D�Arcy (Janne Olsen) and Daniel Brown-McHale. Predeceased by parents Theresa (nee Casey) and Thomas McHale; sisters Mary Vanasse (late Michael), Celestine McMahon (late Charlie), Theresa Doyle (late Jack) and brothers: Thomas (Theresa), Bernard (late Irene) and Dominic (late Anna). Dad will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends, especially family friend John D�Arcy. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Gick, Sandra, Lisa, Colleen, Liopa, Chaplin Mary-Ann and others too numerous to mention at the Elisabeth Bruy�re Health Centre for their support, prayers and care to Dad and family. Friends may join us for visitation at the KELLY FUNERAL HOME 2313 Carling Avenue (West of Woodroffe), Ottawa on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Dad�s life will be celebrated in St. Michael�s Church, Fitzroy Harbour on Saturday morning, November 13th at 11 o�clock. Interment parish cemetery. Gervase McHale, a man of faith, wisdom, kindness and forever a gentleman.
