McLEAN, Rayburn "Ray" (Lifelong Farmer - Retired Heavy Equipment Operator) (Madawaska Lodge # 196 AF & AM) It with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ray Mclean who left this world quite suddenly and unexpectedly just after lunchtime on Friday, August 7th, 2015. He was 79. Beloved husband and best friend for almost 58 years of Libby (nee Cunningham). Dearly loved father of Brent (Penny Craig), Dale, Nonie (Oliver Roy), Tammy and Connie (Kevin Levi). Cherished "Poppa" of 2 grandchildren: Craig and Kelly and one great-grandson, Gabriel. Predeceased by a grandson, B.J. Carson. Dear brother of Rod (Brenda), Calvin (Marilyn), Doris Lunney (late Jimmy), Florence Obst (Gord), Phyllis Miller, Irma Miller (late Art), Vivian Melanson (Stewart) and Penny McMillan (Don). Predeceased by his parents: William McLean and Edra Taylor as well as a brother, Delmer (Lois). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ray McLean was a kind and gentle man. His subtle humour, quick wit and love of people and animals will be missed by all who knew him. Family and friends may pay their respects during visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. A Service to honour and celebrate Ray McLean's life will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Wednesday morning, August 12th at 11 o'clock. A reception will take place immediately after the service. Interment will follow at the White Lake Cemetery. In memory of Ray, a donation to the Elgin Street Baptist Church or the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" Foundation would be appreciated by his family. A Masonic Service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6:45.
