Deepest condolences to Deb and family, to Gary & Val, Clayton and Julie::
Though it may be hard to understand or believe at this time, a life well lived such as Lantz' not only leaves a lasting imprint on the people who have been blessed to have known Lantz but radiates beyond this circle and reaches out and touches those on the periphery and continues outward.
Think of the days when you skimmed rocks across the waters or tossed them into the lake - a seeming unending ripple effect took place and in awe and wonder, as a child, you marvelled at this seeming phenomenon.
Lantz' life is very much like that skimming rock as countless lives were touched by him and whether or not the recipient of Lantz' love and friendship knew it, they were better people for having known Lantz and as they went out into the world, they too affected those around them and on the circle went.
With Lantz' passing, the bright light that was Lantz on this earth is gone - gone from this world to shine more brightly and beautifully in that place of untold and unknown adventures where he can ride free and uncaring on a most beautiful, gleaming and spirited horse where free of all earthly bindings, together they race over countless miles of green hills, meadows and valleys as they revel and embrace this newfound freedom and glory that cannot be conveyed to those of us left behind.
And though Lantz' bright light has left this earth, the embers that glow in the heart of those touched by him well never burn out for he is still with each of you always and forever; for what has been touched cannot be untouched and love and friendship knows no boundaries - not even mortality can diminish love and friendship.
So, dear ones, hold close and cherish the embers entrusted to you that you may warm your ocer-burdened and saddened heart and cherish the memories made and look forward to the day you will be reunited with Lantz and oh, the places he will be able to show you as you are once again reunited.
Blessings and prayers for each of you at this time of heartache and sorrow.
Sincerely,
Paul and Theresa (Sue) Lonergan
