We have enjoyed 70 plus years with Smed who was like a brother except that we never had any fights together.In fact it is hard to remember ever hearing any angry words from him and to be sure no one can live 90 years without having an occassional reason to complain. He was the Rock star of the Patriarchs, for all of us. We will never forget his athletic prowess with the Junior A Montagnards hockey team, and the McGill Redman football teams, his engineering advice, together with his help with the hammer on so many DIY projects for friends and family.
