I am so shocked and so sorry to hear of Wayne's death. I just found out today. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him and particularly at St.Peter Celestine Parish- where he was such an invaluable resource and committed parishioner. Wayne was so very helpful to me in my short time as parish secretary and was always so gracious and kind. I'm truly sorry to hear this news . I pray that Our Lord and Our Lady keep you in their arms during this sad time and provide you with healing and comfort. God bless you Maria./Myriam Doylend
Maria - I'm very sorry for your loss. My name is Glen Morris - my family lived just two doors east of the Giddings on Knightsbridge Road when I was a child, from when I was about 3 through 10 years old. Wayne was my best friend in those years, but we moved away to Toronto in 1962 and I lost touch with him. Coincidentally I ended up being a P. Eng too. I have hopefully managed to attach a photo which I believe is of Wayne (on the left) and me digging a snow fort out of a huge snowbank at the end of our driveway at 2078 Knightsbridge Road. Good memories. My sincere condolences.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Wayne's passing last Saturday. Wayne and I first crossed paths back in the early days of Norpak, and then years later I kept in touch with him at Davis and then CITS. What a smart and charming man he was. I was already friends with the Norton family, and it didn't take long before I was friends with Wayne too. I was so happy when Wayne became part of the family - Maria was always especially kind to me. I will miss Wayne, his big smile, his kindness and gentle good nature. My most sincere condolensces to Maria, Chris, Mark, and the entire Norton and Giddings families.
