Dear Dorcas, Sherry, Paula and family. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember well visiting your home and chatting with Allan. He was usually very quiet but always (and I mean always) had this mischievous smile when you were telling a story. It always made me laugh wondering what he was thinking. He was a truly lovely gentleman, and you have my deepest condolences. Chris Lang

I didn’t have the privilege of knowing Allan for very long, but in the short time our paths crossed, he left a lasting impression on me. My entire family knew of him and Dorcus through the stories I shared, and they felt as though they knew him too. There was a warmth about Allan—an easy kindness that made you feel welcome right away. Whether it was his smile, his gentle humor, or the genuine way he listened, he had a quiet gift for making ordinary moments feel special. I’m deeply grateful for the brief time I got to know him, and I’ll carry that warmth with me always.

My deepest condolences to Dorcas And family…. Allan, or as I called him, “Cowboy”, was a great man, always had a smile on his face, and would always give his time, to have a short chitchat with the neighbours at Blacksmith Gate. You will be greatly missed.
