I didn’t have the privilege of knowing Allan for very long, but in the short time our paths crossed, he left a lasting impression on me. My entire family knew of him and Dorcus through the stories I shared, and they felt as though they knew him too. There was a warmth about Allan—an easy kindness that made you feel welcome right away. Whether it was his smile, his gentle humor, or the genuine way he listened, he had a quiet gift for making ordinary moments feel special.
