I met Janet when my son started kindergarten at St.Michaels, in Corkery. She was not only a loved kindergarten teacher but she also became a great friend to us moms and teachers.
Janet also might have helped with the reason for registering my daughter a year earlier for school, at the age of 3.
She helped so many mom&dads, and kids through these hardest first days of school.
Janet always amazed me how she could get thirty plus kids at the age of 3 & 4 yrs olds dressed, and ready for the middle of winter. This would be in and outside about 8 times a day for recess and lunch’s.
Don’t forget she’d make sure all these kids would be able to proudly hang up their jackets, snow suits /pants, mitts and hats and boots all put away nicely in a timely manner.
Myself …. I’m still working on this a decade later.!
Needless to say Janet was an amazing teacher, specially with such young and small minded children,
she was loved by many. I’m so sorry to hear of her sudden loss, We have kept in touch, and
she was most excited to tell me all about Tony.
From that day on, I knew she found her love, and then
her dogs.
We would have a great laugh, when I’d told her she went from a Kindergarten teacher, to Biker Babe.
I pray for all your family and hope peace and love will support you all during this difficult time.
