Obituary of Shirley Walker

(formerly Stoodley)

(1927 – 2025)

Shirley Mae Walker passed away at the Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus on Tuesday evening, February 11, 2025. At the age of 97 years. Beloved wife of William “Bill” Walker. Loved mother of Barry Stoodley (Dorothy), Debra Gignac (Robert), Roy Stoodley (Darlene) and stepmother of Tom Walker (Gail) and Alex Walker (Nancy). Predeceased by a son, Wayne Stoodley (Vickie) and a stepdaughter, Christine Walker. Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of John Love (Sandra). Predeceased by 2 brothers: Garry Love (late Bev), Reggie Love (Ruth) as well as 2 sisters: Ruth Deriger (late Albert) and Connie Love.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Roy and Gladys Love.

Shirley’s private arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Pilon Family of Arnprior.
