Obituary of Audrey Lamorie

Audrey Joyce Lamorie (nee Pace) in her 93^rd year, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's and vascular dementia.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on December 3,1932 to Robie and Thelma Pace of Halifax,  Audrey was the oldest of 6 children.

In 1949, a sailor came to town from Arnprior, Ontario and swept her off her feet.

They were married on May 5, 1950 in Arnprior and spent 61 exciting years together.

Audrey was predeceased by her husband Norrie Raymond Lamorie (August 10, 2011).

They have 5 children: John Gordon (Shelley), Ralph Wayne (Karen), Linda Susan, Glenn Steven (Colleen) and Kevin Blair (Cynthia).

As a wife and mother of a member of the RCN they travelled extensively, spending several years in some of the most remote locations in Canada.

Living in places like Aklavik, NWT, Churchill, Manitoba and Masset, B.C., Audrey embraced the opportunity and assimilated into several different cultures.

A loving grandmother and great grandmother, Audrey will be remembered for the many talents she possessed and shared with her entire family.

Her final care has been placed into the trusted hands of the Pilon Family in Arnprior.
