Obituary of Joyce Foster

July 18, 1943 – March 21, 2025

Peacefully at Almonte Country Haven on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the age of 81 years. Born in Sudbury, Joyce met her late husband of 58 years, Elmer and moved to Almonte in 1964.

She devoted her time to raising their family, tending her garden and helping her husband run the family business.

Joyce will be greatly missed by her daughters: Norma Richards (Martin), Lorna McElroy (Shawn), Eleanor McLean (Rod) and Doreen Foster.

She was the proud Grandma of Daryll (Jenessa), Deanna (Duncan), Tina (Jake), Mitchell (Brianna), Jodi, Emily (Gareth), Mikayla and Chloe.

Adoring Great-Grandma of Laska, Eden, Haylyn, Willow, Ivy, Raine, Rogan, Ash, Pippa, Ember, Briar, and twins, Toby and Elmer.

Joyce was the oldest of 4 born to the late Ivan and Stella Baxter.

Survived by her siblings: Ken Baxter (Linda) and Luella Ash (Dave).

She was predeceased by her sister Doris Fife.

Fondly remembered by many friends and extended family members.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at the

Pilon Family Funeral Home, Arnprior

on Tuesday morning, March 25^th from 10 to 11:45.

A Funeral Service will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Tuesday at 12 noon.

Interment Guthrie United Cemetery.
