Obituary of Lucien Cloutier

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their cherished matriarch, Lucien Mary Victoria Cloutier, who peacefully passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. Lucien, aged 89, of Arnprior, was the beloved and devoted mother of Brian (Christine Prince), Barry, Cheryl Peters (Rich), and Lynn. She was predeceased by her son, Brent, in 1988. Lucien was the proud and loving grandmother of Brittany, Amber, Kayla, Gwen, Justin, Nigel, Chantel, Clair, and Seth, who will forever hold her memory close. She was also the dear sister of Tony Dorzek (Ginger) and was predeceased by her sister, Irma. Lucien was the cherished daughter of the late Jack and Bea (née Tracey) Dorzek.

Lucien was a vibrant, spirited woman whose love for family and animals knew no bounds. She was an avid knitter, golfer, and reader, and her passions brought joy to those around her. Known for her feisty nature and warmth, Lucien left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those she touched, and she will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.

Lucien’s final arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, Arnprior. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 6th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and again on Monday, April 7th, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior, on Monday, April 7th, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. A reception will follow at Pilon’s.
