Shirley Patricia Church (nee Feehen)

 

Born April 10, 1959 in Charlottetown, PEI

Died April 10, 2025 in Arnprior, Ontario

 

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones and best friends Shelley Woodroff, Diane Nabert, Tammy and Dale Rancourt and also her special friend, Linda Datson by her side.

 

Survived by her loving daughter Christie - Lynn Church; her sister and best friend, Elizabeth Gauthier (Wayne); niece Shelley Gauthier; nephews Daryl and Jonathan; foster-mother Bertha Arsenault and brother Richard Arsenault.

 

Shirley was 66 yrs of age.

A cat has 9 lives but Shirley lived 999 lives. She lived each day to the fullest and with incredible enthusiasm and positivity, without being judgemental of others. Always showing empathy, thoughtfulness and gratitude towards others without expectations. Shirley also loved all animals, especially the ones who needed love, care and a home.

 

Shirley especially loved and appreciated nature, scenic drives and camping trips to Fitzroy Harbour.

She defied a lifetime of incredible challenges with courage and a positive outlook.

No challenge was impossible. No mountain too high. No limitations. The world was her oyster.

 

 

Shirley wished to thank Nicole for the wonderful care and friendship provided over the past year. You were very heartfelt and loved.

A special thank you to Amber for being a source of comfort and support. Your kindness and compassionate care were truly appreciated.
