To Betty and family - I just learned of Leo's sudden passing during the prayers of the faithful at the 4:30 Mass today, May 3rd. My deepest ondolences. Though I didn't know him well, it was when I was working at the church and Fr John told me that there was an adult who wanted to join the church, that we met. Over the years we chatted briefly after Mass when I was singing or after having conducted, . And like almost everyone who has posted, I have to say that Leo's smile and engaging demeanor is what I will always remember. May all the good memories, and thoughts about how many people he touched, help you all in this diffiult time. Blessings!

Over the years I have had a lot of special memories with my uncle. I met him in July 1954 and it was known from that day how much he liked being an uncle not just to me but to many nieces and nephews. Through out the years as we both got older, he was still that special uncle who always took the time to stay in touch with me. I loved when they would come to visit and he always felt very comfortable and that meant a lot to me. I will treasure the memories and he will always have a special place in my heart Catherine
