Obituary of Leo Lawlor

With sadness, the family announces that Leo passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Sunday morning, April 27, 2025;

Leo Allen Lawlor of Arnprior and formerly of Dunrobin and Ottawa was 86 years of age.

Beloved husband for almost 66 years of Betty (nee Vine). Dearly loved Dad of John (Sandy), Jane Lawlor-Masood, Clark (Kathie) and Tyler (Kim).

Cherished and proud grandfather of Sophia, Aydin, Alia, Miles, Jack, Alex and Élise.

Dear brother of Fern Smyth (late Tom). Predeceased by siblings: Glen (late Corolyn), Helen Pennel (Ernie), Lyle (late Marion), Jack (late Rosemary) and Linda Lee (Bill).

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Final arrangements for Leo have been entrusted to the care of the

Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior

where visitation will take place on Friday, May 2^nd from 9:30 to 10:30.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Friday morning at 11 o’clock followed by a reception at Pilon’s.

Interment will be held in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Camden East on Saturday morning, May 3^rd at 11 o’clock.

Member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2082, Arnprior will assemble at the funeral home for prayers on Friday morning at 9:15 a.m.
