Bev, Sterling, and Dave, sorry for your loss. Your mom was wonderful. I remember staying on the farm a couple of summers to work with Miller during hay season. Your mom took good care of me. I also remember being in the barn with Miller as we were milking the cows and hearing that Elvis had died over the radio…just one of those moments that you never forget. I have a lot of good memories staying at the farm. Perry Teevens.

I am proud to say that Gladys and my wife, Elly were great friends. She was a great cook and a marvelous baker. When we were attending worship services many years ago at Bethel United Church in Kinburn, we had many occasions when food was involved. If Gladys was baking something with lemons, she always brought 2; 1 for the church, and 1 for me! We were very blessed to have known her for so many decades.
