Obituary of Jackie Holmes

Following a long and well lived life, Jackie passed away peacefully at Wellbrook Place, Mississauga with loved ones by her side early Wednesday morning, May 14, 2025.

Carmel Jacqueline “Jackie” Holmes a lifelong resident of Arnprior was 96 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Weldon Holmes. Much loved mother of Nancy MacFadden (David), Cathy Glenn and

Stephen Holmes.

Cherished Grandma of Jennifer Glenn, Stephanie Glenn and Samantha Holmes (Jacob Van Egmond) and Great-Grandma of Nate, Zach, Selena, Fiona, Parker and Ava and God-Mother of

Gale Clement (Ray).

The last surviving child of the late Victor and Idola (nee Diotte) Madore, Jackie was also predeceased by her brother, Frank Madore (late Gilberte) as well as 4 sisters: Edna Robillard (late Eric), Camilla Pinard (late Joe), Marie-Paule "Polly"Levesque (late Roy) and Frances Lemire (late Marcel). Also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Final arrangements for Jackie have been entrusted to the care of the

Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20th from 11:30 to 12:45 followed by a service in memory of Jackie in the Pilon Family Chapel at 1 o'clock.

Interment Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior with a reception at Pilon's afterward.
