Obituary of Rev. Ronnie Magno

(Minister-Grace St. Andrew’s United Church, Arnprior)

 

With great sadness, the family announces that Rev. Ronnie passed away quite suddenly with family by his side at the Hull Hospital early Saturday morning, May 17, 2025.

Rev. Ronnie Mabini Magno was only 49 years of age.

Loved son of Romeo and the late Anelina (nee Coca) Magno.

Beloved husband of Shirly (nee Armada).

Dearly loved and devoted Dad of Dietrich, Albrecht and Fiorenza.

Dear brother of Ronalynn Magno, Ronald Magno (Dalia) and Romelyn Hsin (Yung-An).

Much loved uncle of Madelynn, Marcus, Yaekub, the late Kyle, Leonel, Yu-Ping and Yu-Etza.

Son-in-law of Evelyn Armada (late Victor).

Rev. Ronnie will be long remembered by the Geraldizo, Orillo and Mabini families.

 

Rev. Ronnie and his family emigrated to Canada from the Philippines in 2018.

After spending the first few years in Montreal, the Magno family moved to Gatineau.

Rev. Ronnie answered a call to minister to the community at Grace St. Andrew’s United Church in Arnprior.

His passing leaves an immense void.

He will be dearly missed.

 

Final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the

Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior.

Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday morning, May 20th from 10 a.m.  to 12 noon.

A Funeral Service will be held in Grace St. Andrew’s United Church, 269 John Street North, Arnprior on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.

A reception will follow in the Christian Education Centre next door to the Church.
