Obituary of Bill Parsons

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Bill passed away peacefully at Almonte Country Haven on Sunday morning, June 8, 2025;

William Frederick Parsons, a longtime resident of Braeside and Arnprior was 88 years of age.

Husband of Linda (nee Schlievert). 

Loved Dad of Michael (Helen Proulx) and Valerie Parsons (Tim Burnette).

Cherished Grandpa of Jacob (Destiny), Quinten, Tegan and Cooper and Great-Grandpa of Ayden and Marlee.

Dear brother of Peter Parsons (Hannie).

Predeceased by his parents William “Chief” and Margaret (nee Haime) Parsons.  

Bill was a lifelong carpenter who lived a simple life. He enjoyed being with people and helping others.

He will be remembered as a kind and generous man who would do anything for anyone.

He will be missed.

Bill’s final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the

Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior

where visitation will be held on Thursday morning, June 12^th from 9:30 to 10:45.

A Funeral Service will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock.

Interment Albert Street Cemetery at a later date.
