Obituary of Joan Dean

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Joan passed away peacefully at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice in Kanata on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Joan Margaret Dean of Kanata was 81 years of age.

Beloved and devoted mother of Mark Dean (late Celine) and Christa Dean.

Cherished Nanna of Auston Dean, Ashley Carroll (Patrick), Ella Sequeira and Nihm Sequeira.

Dear sister of Linda Leggo and Jane Perry (Pat).

Daughter of the late Herbert and Albertine "Myrtle" (nee Paquette) Leggo.

Joan’s final care has been placed into the trusted care of the

Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior

where visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28^th from 9:30 to 10:45.

A service to honour and remember Joan will then take place in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o’clock followed by a reception.
