Obituary of Willa Wright
(formerly Clark, nee Boucher)
(Retired longtime employee of The Met, Arnprior Mall)
April 3, 1925 – July 3, 2025
With heavy hearts yet so grateful for a beautiful and well-lived life, the family announces that Willa passed away peacefully at the Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew while surrounded by the love of family on Thursday, July 3, 2025: Willa Irene Wright of Arnprior was 100 years 3 months of age.
Beloved wife of the late Ernest Wright. (November 22, 1983).
Special friend of the late Fred Aubin.
Dearly loved and devoted mother of Eric Wright (late Jean), Alan Wright (late Cathy), Margaret Wright (Adam Low), Phyllis Wright (Brian Vezina) and Brenda Ruhnke (Randy).
Predeceased by her son, Walter Clark as well as a son-in-law, Greg MacLeod.
Loved step-mother of Richard Wright (Donna) and the late Betty Greene (late Grant).
Cherished and forever remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren. Willa was the last surviving child of the late John and Lila (nee Watterson) Boucher. Predeceased by siblings: Art (late Helen), Bob (late Margaret), Alice Graham (late Garland), Eileen Duncan (late Charlie), Laura Ashman (late Roland), John (late Helen), Percy (late Rhonda) and George (late Winnifred). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Willa was happiest when surrounded by family and dear friends. Apart from raising her family, she cherished her years as a loyal employee
at The Met in the Arnprior Mall as well as time spent at the Arnprior Hospital where she selflessly volunteered and helped many for over 25 years.
She leaves a legacy of kindness and good cheer with those who were blessed to have her in their lives.
Final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the
Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior
where friends may pay their respects on Monday morning, July 7th from 9:30 to 10:45.
A Service to honour and celebrate Willa’s life will take place in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o’clock.
