Obituary of Linda "Lynn" McCabe

(nee Roy)

With sadness the family announces that Lynn passed away at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Saturday morning, July 5, 2025. She was 71.

Beloved wife of the late Ed McCabe for over 48 years.

Dear sister of Albert Shamess (Christina).

Lynn will be missed by her nieces and nephews: Lynn Brazeau-Cartier, Carol Brazeau-Weisflock, and Zach, Wyatt, Emilie and Sam Shamess.

She was predeceased by her sister Simone Brazeau (late Roger) and brother Wayne Shamess as well as her niece Suzanne Brazeau-Salmonson.

Daughter of the late Edgar and Edith (nee Hewitt) Roy.

Lynn’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at the Malloch Road Cemetery in Arnprior on Tuesday morning, August 26th at 11 o'clock. Light luncheon to follow.
