Sylvia Grace Renwick - Murdock (née Schröeder)
April 18,1943 - July 24,2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sylvia Renwick Murdock, who died peacefully at Fairview Manor in Almonte on July 24, 2025, at the age of 82. Born April 18, 1943, she was the daughter of Basil Schröeder and (Sylvia) Jean Warlich (née Quade).

Beloved partner of Leo Stack. Dearly loved Mom to her dedicated daughter, Jennifer, and son-in-law Jamie Blair. Treasured “Nanny” of Cody (Emily-Ann Leblanc), Hunter (Cody Burgess), and Hannah (Jacob Eliot). Dearest “Syl-vee-ah” to Pyper and Paisley Stack. Predeceased by her first husband and father of her children, Bill Renwick Sr, their “One and Only Son”, Bill (Billy) Renwick Jr, and her former husband, Wayne Murdock. “Big Sis” to Lois Gilmour (late Wayne), Gary Schröeder (late Barb), Kevin Schröeder, and Staci Rushton (Tyler), as well as Marlene Keller (Junior) and Karen Warlich. Predeceased by her brothers Douglas Schröeder and Paul Warlich.

From the hills of Quadeville and Denbigh, Sylvia lived a life defined by resilience, class, and an unwavering love for her family. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended Renwick, Schröeder and Stack families, as well as countless friends. She is held in high regard by everyone who knew her. We will miss her deeply and carry her memory with us always.

Her family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Marisa Rossi and all the staff at Fairview Manor for the care and compassion she received over the past year.

As per Sylvia's request, a private gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you consider donating to the Fairview Manor Foundation or the Arnprior Food Bank in her honour.
