Obituary of Wendy Lynn Storey

(nee Mathers)

With heavy hearts the family announces that Wendy passed away peacefully, following a brief illness, at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. She was 62.

Proud and cherished mom of Logan and Olivia and stepmom to Josh.

Dearly loved sister of Heather Rourke (Phil).

Treasured aunt of Serena and Sarah.

Wendy was predeceased by her parents, Marven and Joan (nee Gibb) Mathers.

Her care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will be held on Thursday morning, August 7 from 9:30 to 10:45. A tribute to honour Wendy will take place in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o’clock.
