Dear Doug and families,
I only knew Geraldine as one of our Hot Meal recipients through Seniors At Home. I just found out that she had passed away, so I wanted to share my condolences to her family. As I read her obituary, I learned all I needed to know about Geraldine. Besides the fact that she is absolutely beautiful - has kind eyes and gentle smile - she is also the same on the inside. Whomever wrote this obituary has done Geraldine proud, as there has never been an obituary so full of love, kindness and caring as this one. Or very few. Wow, what an "Angel on Earth" this lady was. Thank God for beautiful people like that - who just ooze love from every part of their being. I wish I had known her myself, it would have been an honour. I am so sorry for everyone's loss. Your patriarch of the family sits high in heaven now, watching out over all of you, like she always has - but now she's everywhere with all of you at the same time. God's speed Geraldine! I pray for your peace and strength of heart Doug, and all your family and friends.
