It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this. Time has moved on but my memories of Chris will last forever. I had the pleasure of working for Chris when I had just completed my hairdressing course. Who knew we would have a great bond, from cutting each other's hair between clients to her teaching me how to knit Nordic sweaters. The sweaters went well, Chris' bangs not so much. Chris was there for me in particular times when a great friend was needed. I am grateful to have had her in my life! My heart goes out to all of Chris' family in this time of sorrow. May you rest in peace Chris, you will be missed.

Bev and Glenn I was so sorry to hear about Chris’s passing. I remember her warmly from Bona Vista and later at our house during her studies. She was a bridesmaid at our wedding and added so much love and warm to that day. She was a warm caring funny person who will be missed. Our sincerest condolences. My deepest condolences to Will, family and friends. I knew Chris years ago when she was my hairdresser and then I had the pleasure to work with her at Peavey Mart she was a great lady. She will be missed.

The memories I have of the many chats we had in her shop bring a warm smile to my face and a reminder of the fantastic lady she was. I'm very sorry for your loss. I have so many good memories of working with Chris. Her ability to put customers at ease, her quick wit and humor were never ending. If I close my eyes, I can see her sitting in the back room at FCH, crocheting, telling a funny story at life at home. This is how I'll remember her. Both Geary and I were deeply saddened to hear of Chris’s passing. She was a lovely lady who loved life and her family. Our most sincere condolences go out to Brandon, Morgan,Bev,Willy and the Grant family.. She will be sadly missed.

Unaware of Chris’s illness and super shocked to be reading about her passing. Met the Grant family many years ago as teenagers at Bona Vista campground. Thinking of Bev and Glen at this time.
