Dear Joanne - I am so sorry and sad for your loss, one I share with you given Terry's passing just 8 months. It prompted me to re-read the nice note Jeff sent me at that time, it was filled with memories they both shared. We last saw Jeff about 7 years ago when he popped in for a beer and get caught up....his stories of Fitzroy always cracked us up, he had this ability to lift people up like no other. My thoughts continue to be with you.
Take good care.......Sandy

I was deeply saddened to learn of Jeff's passing. His kindness and integrity left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Langford family. Dear Joanne, Kelsey and family
I have no words to convey how saddened I was to hear from Kelsey of Jeff's sudden passing. Jeff was my work colleague in the IT department at CMPA for many many years. He was not only a colleague but I called him, friend. I cherished our late Friday afternoons talks about our kids, politics, vacation spots, his local soft ball tourneys, golf and of course his beloved Red Sox. Jeff was my moral compass on all matters IT and security. I truly respected his well thought out opinions. He was a man of integrity, character, compassion and a man who possessed a wicked sense of humour.
Since we both retired, we enjoyed our annual summer lunch on a patio where we caught up on our latest retirement exploits and all things grandchildren. I will truly miss these catch up get togethers.
My sincerest condolences to all the family. He will be missed. I am a better person for having known him as a colleague and a friend. My heart aches for you all. May his soul through the mercy of God rest in peace.

Dear Joanne and family, I am so sorry to learn of Jeff`s passing at such a young age. He was always so friendly and unassuming when we met at family gatherings. I still remember his offer of a bed and at least a Kraft dinner if I was ever stranded when T was teaching at St. Matthew`s. It was said jokingly but i always knew I would receive a warm welcome if I ever took him up on the offer. Let the many memories gathered over the years give you comfort and peace in the days ahead.

We were shocked and saddened to hear that Jeff had passed away so suddenly. Jeff was one of the nicest, kindest people we had the privilege of knowing, always with a big smile and friendly hello when we would see him. My Mom and Dad were good friends of Lois and Eddie, so as children, Jeff and I spent time together when our parents visited. I'll always remember Jeff as being the nicest little boy and he grew up to be the nicest man. Jeff will be missed by so many. Our hearts go out to all of you and we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this very sad and difficult time.

Dearest Langford Family - three lovely memories of Jeff stand out to me.
I loved how he referred to the little ones as “old boy”, so jovial and fun.
Always down for a breakfast! Whether in a Calgary background during birthday season/drive Kels across the country season, or when friends come to visit.
And third, always down for an airport run. Aforementioned friends greatly appreciate such back up.
Sending you love

Over the years, we worked on a few very special projects and Jeff was always one of the brst to work with; super smart and super patient. We also became friends over the years playing baseball and sharing other work based social activities. We have kept in to touch even after retirement and would see one another a couple of times a year.. He will be very much missed by myself and all the other friends and colleagues. Around 10–12 years ago, on a snowy night after a fun curling game at the Nepean Sportsplex with Bill Bourk’s team, Jeff and I witnessed a hit-and-run near Algonquin College. Jeff immediately stayed with the young fellow who was injured and called 911, while I chased down and stopped the driver who caused the accident until the police arrived.
Thanks to Jeff’s calm presence and quick action, the young man received help right away. Thankfully, his injuries turned out to be minor. After giving our statements to the police, Jeff and I went home, grateful for how things turned out.
That night showed the kind of person Jeff was—caring, steady, and always ready to help others in need.

Jeff will always hold a special place in our hearts. He had a special bond with his cousin Ian and made a special trip to visit with him in his final days here in Saskatoon. It was a joy to meet Jeff and Joanne many years ago and see the wonderful people Ian grew up with. We travelled east to be with Jeff and Joanne and Aunt Lois when Joel passed away. I know the grief they are going through, life taken to quickly and the many years that had been planned for and looked forward to. So glad Jeff met his grand babies and spent time with Kelsey's children. You can see the joy he had being with them. A loss so great, but many great memories to help ease the pain. With heartfelt sympathy,
