With great sadness, Mel announces that Candice, his wife and the love of his life passed away peacefully and with grace at The Grove Long Term Care Facility in Arnprior on Thursday morning, September 26, 2025.

Candice-Lee Dick of Arnprior, formerly of Renfrew was 74 years of age.

She and Melvin were married December 19, 1972.

Together they created a bond and a friendship that would last for over 53 years.

Candice was the daughter of the late Gerald Henry Cooper and the late Gwennyth Margaret MacKinnon.

She is survived by her sister, Vicki-Lynn Cooper; her half-brother, Derek Cooper as well as half-sisters: Judith MacDonald, Judy Cooper, Hannah Cooper and Ruth Cooper.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

 

Private care and arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior.
