Dear Mom,
I’ve attempted to write, but the ink won’t seem to flow on the paper. Every word turns into a scrambled mess in my head. I’m at a loss for words — can you even imagine that, me? So, here it goes.
I don’t believe I’ve truly lost you, for I know you are always with me. In my mind and in my heart, you will live on. More importantly, I feel your presence all around me. We will still have our daily chats, for I know you will hear me.
Until we are in the same space again, surround yourself with the love of all those you’ve missed over the years.
Loved you yesterday, love you today, and will love you tomorrow. ❤️
Kimberly

Don and family,
I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Gail was a wonderful lady and I have many fond memories from office Christmas parties years ago and seeing her pop in to the CU on the days she was bowling in town. May the love and support of those around you provide strength in the days ahead.

I am so proud and happy to say that it was an honour to meet and become a friend of Gail.
I met Gail some twenty seven years ago through her husband Don when I became a member of the Wildwood Hunt Club. Don was a member of the club and has been so for more than fifty years. As luck would have it, I soon got to meet Gail at the Russell home. What a great treat it was for me to get to visit Gail and Don over the years. We spent hours chatting or bantering about life issues, funny stories, and for me it was a great chance to see how happy and loving this couple were towards each other. Every once in a while I would poke fun with Gail and ask her who was the boss of their house. She would look at me sternly, roll her finely boned fingers in to a menacing, tiny fist, point it at me, and say "I am, and don't you forget it!"
Don, sitting at the other end of the table, red faced, with a big grin would nod and "she sure is".!
This is only one small memory I have of two of my favourite people. There are many, many more. Too many to relate in this small space. But believe me, I will cherish these moments forever. God bless you Gail. I am so happy to have known you. And don't worry,Gail, your families and friends like myself are here to take care of your old love Don. Certainly not as well as you did, but we will do our best.
Love,
Wayne
