Dorothy Joan Russett

(nee Scheel)

Dorothy passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital with family by her side on Tuesday morning, September 30, 2025.

A lifelong resident of Scheel Drive in McNab-Braeside, Dorothy spent a lifetime farming alongside her husband, the late William “Bill” Russett who predeceased her January 1, 2016.

Forever loved and devoted mother of Brent (Lynda) and Jennifer Metcalfe (Russell).

Cherished grandmother of Ethan Russett (Marie Josée), Amy Russett, Hillary Metcalfe and Zac Metcalfe and great-grandmother of William Russett.

Dear sister of Gerald Scheel (Merilyn).

Predeceased by 2 brothers: Allan Scheel (Barbara) and John Scheel).

Dorothy will be remembered as a woman of faith who was loved, admired and respected by family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held in Gateway Church, 128 Mary Street, Arnprior on Monday morning, October 6^th at 11 o’clock followed by a reception in the Church Hall.

Family interment will then take place at the Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior.
