Obituary of Karen McKeddie

With heavy hearts the family announces that Karen passed away at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital on Monday afternoon, October 6, 2025. She was 69.

Cherished wife of Randy for over 37 years.

Deeply loved mother of twins Robbie Dowd (Lorrie Wallace) and Jeff Dowd (Pam Smart), Jamie McKeddie (Jay Owens) and the late Sara McKeddie (2022).

Proud and treasured Nanny of Liam, Rian, Owen, Autumn, Grady, Grace, David, Jesse, Felicia, Desirée, Gage, Olivia and Sébastien.

Dear sister of Rhonda Lavallee (Larry), Bruce Raycroft (Maxine), Jeff Raycroft (Carol Lavallee), Barry Raycroft and Cheryl Moore (Bob).

Fondly remembered sister-in-law of Russ McKeddie (Debbie Thompson), Linda Burnette (Frank), Lori Dontigny (Rob) and the late Donnie McKeddie.

Daughter of the late Harold and Norma (nee Lobb) Raycroft.

Karen’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, Arnprior.

Extended family and friends are invited to join us for a Graveside Service honouring Karen at the Malloch Road Cemetery on Saturday afternoon, October 11^th at 2 o’clock.

A Celebration of Life will follow at the Arnprior Legion Branch 174.
