Sam and I are very sorry for the loss of your Dad and we hope that happy memories will help you at this sad time. Thinking of you, Judy and Sam
I will always remember seemingly endless containers of bubbles & popsicles Al handed out to us cousins on hot summer days when we were kids. As we grew up it was the quick witted jokes and stories shared at family events, that keep us laughing to this day. Each time I see a straw hat, I think of Uncle Al. He will be greatly missed.

Debbie and I have a lot of great memories of Alex and Shirley at the cottage. Playing horse shoes, girls against guys. The gals could really hold their own even though Al had a real touch for throwing ringers. Al and I in the peddle boat towing Shirley and Deb on a big tube attached by a long rope. Relaxing yes, for some. Getting lost on the river in the boat at night, on the way back from Portage. We are going to miss those days. Rest in piece old buddy. Dave and Debbie Reed.

Work with Alex many years at GE. Lots of laughs. Alex worked many weird shifts or hours whenever needed. Always helping the company out in a jam, and there were many.

The obituary notice is very appropriate as Alex was a steadfast member of the Legion, who spent many hours in the basement with a pool cue. Alex, was loved by all that had the pleasure of meeting him and will be missed so many.
