Theresa Church

(nee Couvieau)

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa on October 12, 2025. She was 75 years of age.

Daughter of the late John Paul and Lea Couvieau. Wife of the late William Andrew (Andy) Church. Mother of Dana (Stephen Kingston) and Westin Church. Sister of John (Carilyn), Carol (the late Kenneth Marcellus), the late Nancy (Rodger Cleary), Jeff (Maxine), and Leah Couvieau. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Proud grandmother (Grams) of Lelynd and Lexi Kingston.

Theresa had a special gift for caring for older adults and for nursing people back to health. She provided her patients much dignity and compassion. In addition to healthcare, her career included school lunch monitor and crossing guard. Theresa also had a big heart for the family dogs and her “grand-pets.”

Theresa valued peace and tranquility, and she often fondly reminisced about “running the log booms” during her youth in Braeside.

Rest in peace, Theresa/Mom/Aunt Theresa/Grams.

Private care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior. Donations can be made to The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) Foundation.
