We are very saddened to hear about the passing of Helen. I met Helen & Ralph when I was 18, at Uxbridge Baptist church such fond great memories & I also from the Port Perry area. Funny story: Few years later - I met Tim Ferguson ( Ron & Barbara’s son) at GM being a student working there. He mentioned he had a aunt & uncle from Port Perry. I asked who just in case I knew them. Yes!! I did!! oh my gosh Helen & Ralph… Love them!! Such a small world it is… hence a few years later Helen & Ralph came to our wedding. Ralph gave us the honour & grace at speaking at our wedding. Helen will be sadly missed she always had a kind smile I can see it now. Tim & I send our sincere condolences to you all. Sorry we could not make it but we watched on video. Lovely service for a lovely lady xxx

Dear Hortopp Family. Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear mom. Helen and Ralph were good friends of ours when they attended Uxbridge Baptist Church. They also looked after our kids when we were on a trip. The strangest thing Helen was very heavy on my mind these last couple of months trying to find out where she was living Google had said she lived in Port Perry but no results.
