Frances “Fran” Bernard

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Fran passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home and while surrounded by the love of family on Saturday morning, October 18, 2025. Frances Della Bernard of Constance Bay was 82 years of age.

Beloved wife and best friend of Stan for over 67 years. Dearly loved Mom of Todd (Donna) and Sean (Loralaine "Lora"). Cherished and forever loved by her grandchildren Samantha, Nicole, Hanna and Luke, dear sister of Phylomena Lathigee (Damien) and special sister-in-law of Esther McTaggart (late Roger). Daughter of the late Mary and Edward Chircop. Also survived and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

Those who knew Fran also knew she was a woman of great faith and a wonderful testament of God’s love and grace during her lifetime. Her husband Stan and their family were always first in her life. Offering them support, kindness and continued love and guidance came easy to her, and helped shape a loving and lasting legacy to carry with them through their lives.

She will be missed.

Fran’s final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior where visitation will be held on Friday, November 7^th from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. A Service to honour and remember Fran will then take place in the Pilon Family Chapel at 2 o’clock followed by a reception. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Fran’s beloved St. Gabriel’s Church, Constance Bay on Saturday morning, November 8^th at 10 o’clock. Interment St. Peter Celestine Parish Cemetery, Indian Hill Road, Pakenham.
