Obituary of Ken Tilk

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Kenneth Ross Tilk, aged 87, passed away suddenly in Ottawa following a heart attack on October 17th, 2025.

Ken will be lovingly remembered by his devoted partner Elizabeth (Huibers) and her family, his daughter Heather and her husband Allan (Gallagher), and too many extended family members, and friends to list.

He was a kind and caring husband and partner, a wonderful dad, and a loyal friend to so many, he has Ieft a small piece of himself with each of us, and he will be deeply missed.

Ken enjoyed a career with Bell working in Marketing and was admired for his creativity, warmth, and humour. He found great joy on the golf course during his working years, and well into retirement, it was his true passion. Finding the next adventure to go on also became a passion. Ken embraced every day with enthusiasm and gratitude, always finding ways to make life brighter for those around him.

A gathering to honour Ken will be announced in the near future.

Our family extends heartfelt thanks to his dear friend, Bill Rance (wife Sandie), for his kindness and help with these arrangements.

Ken will be forever remembered for his generous heart and his joyful and humourous spirit. Rest in peace Pere, and god bless.
