With sadness, the family announces that Sheila passed away at Almonte Country Haven with loved ones by her side early Monday morning, October 27, 2025. Sheila Mary Smith of Arnprior was 77 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Art Smith (September 29, 2024). Dearly loved Mom of Tracy Smith (late Shane Johnson) and Terry Smith (Emily). Cherished and devoted Nanny of 4 grandchildren: Tasha Bates, Jessica Bates (Alex Ohlman), D’Nysha Smith (John Campbell) and Darren Smith as well as 13 great-grandchildren: Brooklyn, Parker, Addalyn, Gavin, Dalen, Emmett, Brandtley, Lainey, Sierra, Jase, Ilah, Sophia and Delaney. Dear sister of Judy Luker and Bonnie Campbell. Predeceased by her parents: John and Mary (nee Tackman) Dellaire as well as 2 brothers: James “Jim” Dellaire (Elsie) and Jack (late Marie) and 3 sisters: Alice Hanniman, Caroline Enright (late Jim) and Mabel Hamilton (late Peter). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Sheila’s final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior where visitation will be held on Tuesday morning, November 4^th from 9:30 to 10:45. A Service to honour and remember Sheila will take place in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o’clock. Interment Dacre Cemetery. A reception will then be held at the DACA Centre, Dacre.
