Brownie, what can I say. You've been in my life for as long as I can remember. I was just young when we lost our family dog and what did you do? Show up at the farm with a German Shepherd mix puppy, who became "Bruce"! I will also never forget trying to show my award-winning gelding, Buck, at the local Arnprior Fair. You were always so helpful, tying his tail in one big "knot" as we rode past into the ring, or better yet, standing on the outside rail with a beer, of course having taught Buck to drink beer out of a bottle. What did he do, take the bottle of beer as we went by! Explain that to the judge! You immediately accepted my boy, Mitch and then his kids. They will miss you. You left your mark Brownie. You brought joy and laughter. Your heart was always in the right place. I know you will still be in the barn, watching out for everyone there. Rest easy...
