Obituary of Lynda Jordan

Lynda Catherine Jordan (nee Cornfoot) 1948-2025

With great sadness, the family of Lynda Jordan (nee Cornfoot) announces her peaceful passing on Sunday December 21st, 2025, at the age of 77.

Originally from Dundee, Scotland, and long settled in Arnprior, Ontario, she was known for her loving nature, her sense of fun and her deep commitment to family.

Lynda was the dearly loved Mum of Scott (Chauntell), Steven (Carrie), Shannyn (Chris).

She was the proud Nana to Curtis, Madison, Anthony, Steven, Richard, Emily, Cole, Tyler, Kayla, and Kyle.

And the cherished Great-Nana to Katalina, Jack, Amelia, Finlee, Juniper, Aca, and Evelyn.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Archie Jordan; her parents, Nathan and Isobel Cornfoot; and her older brother, John Cornfoot.

She also leaves behind her adored Sheltie, Archer, who brought her constant comfort and companionship.

Lynda enjoyed being an active member of the Red Hat Society and previously worked with Pfizer Inc. where she was respected for her dedication, and made numerous lifelong friends.

Lynda will be remembered for her warmth, humour, and the love she shared so freely.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Lynda with her family during an informal drop-in to be held at the Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior on Friday evening, January 30th  from 5 to 7 p.m.
