Obituary of Leonard "Len" Parker

Peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Sunday morning, January 11, 2026, Len passed away at the age of 91.

 

Beloved husband and best friend of Sharon (nee Booth) for almost 70 years.

Cherished Dad of Gary Parker (Jean), Linda Sherstabetoff (Rick)

and Dave Parker (Marilyn).
Predeceased by a son Michael.

Special Grandpa of Caryn, Allison, Travis and David.

Dear brother of Mary O’Grady (late Leo).

Loved brother-in-law of John Booth (Cheri).

Len was predeceased by his sisters: Lillian and Margie.

 

Len enjoyed a long career as a carpenter, putting his excellent skills to good use until he was nearly 80 years of age. He put his all into everything he did. His passion for country music could be heard far and wide, especially when he pulled out his guitar. More than anything, Len will be remembered as a proud father and a loving husband. His support and devotion to his wife Sharon never wavered, creating lasting imprint of love that will never be forgotten.

He will be greatly missed.

 

Len’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home, Arnprior.

A Celebration of his Life will be planned in the near future.
