Dear Rick and family:
Lynda was a wonderful art buddy of mine. She was in class with me every Thursday afternoon at Kevin Dodd’s studio. She was a very talented painter, and we used to tease each other from time-to-time because she was an exacting artist with great attention to fine detail. I, on the other hand, often painted colourful abstracts with very little form. Our teasing of each other’s styles was all in good fun, and I loved Lynda’s wit and sense of humour. She encouraged the rest of us in our work, and I will miss her a great deal. Lynda truly was a fine person, friend and artist, and I hope you find comfort in your happy memories of her and in knowing that she is at peace.
