Robert “Rob” Strong

(Retired – Boeing, Arnprior)

Following a long journey through cancer, Rob passed away peacefully at Hospice Renfrew with close friends by his side on Saturday afternoon, January 17, 2026.

Robert Allan Strong of Arnprior was 75 years of age.

Beloved husband of the late Bernice (nee Simpson) Strong. Loved father of Matthew.

Dear brother of Gordie (late Sandra) and Anne Brown.

Predeceased by 3 brothers: Arden “Heppy” Strong (late Cathy), Donald Strong and Bryan Strong (Nancy) as well as a sister, Vivian Cavanagh (late Stuart).

Fondly remembered by the Simpson family as well as many nieces and nephews.

Final arrangements for Rob have been entrusted to the care of the

Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior.

The family will hold a private graveside service and interment at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior later in the Spring.
