With great sadness, the family announces that Tom passed away peacefully

at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 24, 2026

following a brief illness. Thomas Edward Thayer of Arnprior was only 73 years of age.

Beloved husband and Best Friend of  Ellen (nee Brown).

Dear father of Chris Thayer (Becky), Jamie Thayer (Mandy) and Melissa McCloskey (Wayne).

Cherished Grandpa of Tatyana, Kiera, Emma, Aaden, Tanner, Ferghus, Wylder, Summer, Adaira and Marik.

Dear brother of Bill (Nancy), Rob and Hugh (Debbie). Also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Son of the late Fred and Audrey (nee Hemphill) Thayer, Tom was also predeceased by his brother, Brian.

Final arrangements for Tom have been entrusted to the professional care of the

Pilon Family Funeral in Arnprior.
