Christopher “Chris” Adams

 

 

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Chris passed away peacefully at The Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus, with loved ones by his side on Friday, January 30, 2026.

Christopher Edward Adams of Carleton Place was 57 years of age.

 

Beloved son of Edward and the late Sharon (née Roberts) Adams.

Dear brother of Kim Hendley (Mike). Loved uncle of Rhiannon and Lauren.

 

Chris was born in Labrador City, Newfoundland and Labrador, a place that shaped his character and stayed close to his heart throughout his life.

He earned his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University, then returned home to Labrador City where he spent over a decade working in the mining industry.

 

Chris later moved to Ontario, continuing his engineering career with Unimin Canada and most recently with OMYA in Perth.

 

Outside of work, Chris found constant companionship in his dog, Domino.

The bond they shared was deep and unwavering.

It brings comfort to the family to imagine him reunited with his loving mother and his beloved dog, Domino.

 

Chris will be remembered for his quiet strength, loyalty to family, and the care he showed to those closest to him.

He will be deeply missed.

 

Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior.
