John (Jack) Clifford Shaw
John “Jack” Clifford Shaw was born June 1, 1934, in Kinburn. He passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of community service, dedication, and deep love for his family.
Beloved husband of Audrey (nee Montgomery).
Jack and Audrey shared 69 years of laughter, dancing, and travels.
He was the cherished son of the late Earl and Lila (nee Baird) Shaw.
Proud father of John (Helen), Jill Caldwell (Fred), Donna-Lee Todd and Scott (Angie). Loving grandfather of Frederick Caldwell (Johann), Ashley Caldwell and Haley Todd.
Fondly remembered by Darren and Kelsey Skinner.
Brother of George (Barbara) Shaw Predeceased by siblings: Eldred, Jean, and Ruth.
Also remembered by his brothers‑ and sisters‑in‑law: Gwen Montgomery (late Errol), Lorne Montgomery (Carol) and Joan Raycroft (late Harvey).
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A committed community and agricultural leader, Jack served proudly as the last Reeve of Fitzroy Township;
contributed many years to the Kinburn Community Association and was honoured with the Canada 125 Medal for his service, among many other achievements.
He was also an active supporter of the Liberal Party of Canada, reflecting his lifelong interest in public life and community betterment.
Jack will be remembered for his integrity, warmth, and his bright smile that lit up every room.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff of Carp Commons and Almonte Country Haven for their exceptional care and kindness.
Final arrangements for Jack have been entrusted to the care of the
Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior
where visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21st from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. only.
A Funeral Service will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Sunday morning, March 22nd at 11 o’clock.
