Obituary of Manon Mélançon

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Manon Melancon on February 10, 2026 in her home in Ottawa at the age of 65 years.

Predeceased by her father, Marcel Melancon, her mother Therese (nee Piette) Melancon, her nephew Kamyl and her niece Amanda.

She is survived by her siblings: Jocelyn (Brenda), Carole (Denis), Stephane, Marie-Therese (John) and Louise (David).  As well, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

Manon had many friends, enjoyed karaoke, concerts, music, cooking and trying new recipes, camping and fishing, attending art shows and collecting art (but was not an artist), sports and politics. She will truly be missed but never forgotten. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 11, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Valley East Lions Club, 4611 St-Joseph St, Hanmer, Ontario, P3P 1K5.
