Obituary of Vanya Newell

With heavy and broken hearts the family announces that Vanya passed away unexpectedly at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 (67).

She will be remembered for her unconditional love and forgiveness, her love for gardening, nature and her love for her many pets.

Vanya was the much-loved Mom of Jesse Newell and David Newell-Turner and proud Grandma of Logan and Phoenix.

Dear sister of David Newell (June) and Frances “Fran” Campbell

Predeceased by her sister Brenda Mack.

Daughter of the late Everett and Betty Newell.

Vanya’s private arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home, Arnprior.
