Patricia Ann Stewart

(née Schnob)

April 6, 2026

Peacefully at home, surrounded by her big, loving family, Patricia Ann Stewart of White Lake was called home in the quiet early hours of Monday morning, in her 79th year.

Beloved wife of 41 years to Neil Stewart. She was the daughter of Archie and Kathleen Schnob.

She was the proud mother of Cindy (Billy), Jeanna (Kord), Craig, Kathleen “Katie,” and Jessica (Dom). She was Grandma to Lesly (Paul), Madison (Jared), Rachel, Joshua, Violet, Lucas, and Elaine, and Great‑Grandma “GG” to Banks and Scout.

Much‑loved sister to Evelyn Needham (Brian). Predeceased by her brother, Reo Schnob, and her sisters Sylvia McInnes (Ross), Catherine Reid, Lorraine Garvin (Pat), and Carol Ryan.

Cherished sister‑in‑law to Elizabeth, Judy, David, and Madeline. She leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews who adored her, as well as countless friends who loved her like family.

Together Pat and Neil built a life full of loyalty, laughter, and the kind of everyday love that never needed a spotlight to be real.

Pat had special, one‑of‑a‑kind relationships with each of her children steady, unmistakable, and entirely her own. With her grandchildren, she was pure magic: an amazing play partner who showed up fully and made ordinary moments feel like the main event.

Pat, Patsy, The Pussycat to those who loved her was larger than life. She was smart, beautiful, generous, and loving, and she could light up any room with her smile. She told the best stories and had an incredible sense of humour, often dark, always quick, and frequently laced with a perfectly timed dose of sarcasm. She loved sports, a well‑steeped cup of Red Rose tea, and a fast game of Euchre.

The kitchen table was the heart of her home, and we believe she loved the chaos that surrounded it. She didn’t always love the sad country music that often accompanied the noise and chaos but she tolerated it.

She set a very high bar and, without even trying, helped all of us build our “thick skin” over the years especially during those “Are you in Arnprior?” calls when she needed a few things picked up at Metro or letting you know you should run a brush threw your hair. Her chirps were legendary, her laugh unmistakable, and somehow even the sharpest one‑liners still felt like love.

She will be deeply missed and cherished forever. Pat made the world brighter for the people, lucky enough to be in her orbit, and we will carry her stories, her sayings, and her fierce love with us always.

“Oh, she’s an angel, let her fly, let her fly… she’s gone home to glory, to her home in the sky.” When God sees her coming, heavens choir will smile and Sing, “Oh she’s an angel, let her fly, let her fly”

A private celebration of Pat’s life will be held in the spring
