Obituary of Norma Arbic
(nee LeBrun)
It is with heavy and broken hearts her family announces that on Friday morning of May 1, 2026, Norma passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at the age of 67.
Beloved soulmate of Dave for 40 years, married nearly 32 years.
Trusted and treasured Mum of Mason Arbic, Holly Harris (Jason Wurm), Angela Harris, Megahn Perry (Nicholas Mousseau) and Tasha Harris (Paul Carreau).
Loving Nanny to Eddison Crowe, Kylie LeBrun-Carreau, Logan LeBrun-Carreau and Harmony LeBrun-Carreau.
Dearly loved sister of Sid LeBrun (late Tammy St. Michael), Alana LeBrun (Doug Baxter), May LeBrun and Howie LeBrun.
Predeceased by her brother Alex LeBrun (Shirley).
Daughter of the late Clarence and Ella May (nee Thomlison) LeBrun.
Norma will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and all who knew her.
Norma spent many years waitressing at various restaurants before settling into a 10-year career at Antrim Truck Stop on Old Highway 17. Her contagious smile and natural kindness towards her customers became a part of the Antrim experience.
Her true job and passion was caring for others. While she raised 5 children, she reinforced to them that the only “steps” in their home were the ones to the second floor, and that word needn’t be used to describe her family. She was Mum to all the friends who came over after school and on weekends. She was at the ready with a listening ear, a cup of tea, homemade baking, or a hot meal for anyone who needed her.
With patience, acceptance, generosity, and love, Norma would always make sure everyone in her home and community was looked after in every way she could. She often said Braesiders stick together, and was loyal and dedicated to the people there that felt like extended family.
She will be greatly missed.
Norma’s private care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, Arnprior.
Family and friends are invited to The Arnprior Legion for a celebration of Norma's life to be held on Saturday, June 6th from 2 to 8 p.m.
