With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Tippins at home in Burnstown surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 67 years of age.

Beloved wife and devoted life companion of Robert Tippins in their 48th year of marriage.

Proud mother of Angelina “Angie” McNish (Brian), Janie Blyth (Eric) and Joshua Tippins.

Cherished grandmother “gramma” of Teagan and Tyler Blyth.

Dear sister of David Laronde (late Cheryl), Daniel Laronde (Jean), Nancy Reinke (Michael), Robert “Bob” Laronde (Rachel) and Diane Pringle (Dave).

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret-Anne (nee Foster) Laronde.

Gloria, also known as “Mama Bear”, was fiercely committed to her family.

She and Robert raised their kids surrounded by nature and their countless pets and farm animals.

She was a gifted artist with a strong connection to her Algonquin heritage.

Throughout her life, Gloria walked with unwavering faith anchored in the belief of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Her humour, beauty, and kindness will be deeply missed.

Gloria’s final care has been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior.

A private family graveside service and internment will take place at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior.

In memory of Gloria, a donation to Valley Animal Rescue would be appreciated by her family.
