January 13, 1946 - May 20, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Diana Mary Lynn. She was surrounded by her loving family as the sun rose on May 20, 2026.

Diana was the cherished wife and loyal companion of her high school sweetheart, Don Robertson, in the adventure of their life through Canada from Hardisty, Alberta to Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario.

She was Mother to Carmen and Holly (Fernando) of Ottawa, and Ben (Shannon) of Arizona. Grandmother to Rio, Echo, and Willow of Ottawa. Dear Sister to Francie (Graham) of Wales and Aunt to Chloe (Phil) of England, Fred (Rachel) of Wales, and Songie (Kris) of Alberta. Sister to Phyllis (Jake, late) and Aunt to Jan (Maureen), Jay (Bruce), Mark (Sandra) and Mary of Alberta. Sister to the late and beautiful Ricky. Daughter of the late Nellie and Gerald McShane, and Jack and Helen McGlashan. Sister-in-law to Tess (Len), Archie (Linda), Hughie (Brenda), and Bruce (Hilda). Aunt to Garrett, Mitchel, Joel, Corryn, Megan, Brant, Patrick, Shannon, Travis, and Charity. Daughter-in-law to the late Carman and Gracie Robertson. Friend to the forgotten.

Diana was delighted and grateful to devote her golden years to the enjoyment of her precious children and grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart. Diana’s kindness and generosity changed the lives of many people. Her gratitude for life and those who shared in it filled her with joy. She will dearly miss the opportunities to say thank you every day.

The absence of her beautiful smile leaves many lives a little dimmer. We will come together to celebrate her light and life on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior. Visitation will begin at 9:30am until the time of the Service in Memory of Diana in the adjoining chapel at 11:00am. The service will be webcast live for those unable to attend. {Click Here}
